This woman made a huge mistake when she posted about her new job on Facebook.

A mother celebrates her new job at a day care center only to find out she’s been fired before her first shift.

Kaitlyn Walls, a 27-year-old single mother from The Colony, Texas, recently landed a new job at a local day care center.

Soon after, she posted on Facebook:

“I start my new job today, but I absolutely hate working at day care. Lol, it’s all good, I just really hate being around a lot of kids.”

Surefire way to get fired, right?

First, she got a LOT of hate messages onfrom other women her wall. People said she had bubonic plague and smeared her with insults.

I actually cried. It really hurt because I wasn’t trying to offend anybody,” she said.

She found another reason to cry once day care operators heard about the Facebook post and told her not to come into work.

“I really needed it really bad,” she said. “I’m a single mom… trying to get out on my own.”

Walls said she’s learned her lesson. “I’m not going to post anything like it ever. No matter how I feel.” Walls later wrote on Facebook, “Oh man I made a big mistake. I’m so sad. I feel like a failure here looking at my daughter crying because I’m afraid that I’m not going to be able to find a job because of my own stupidity.”
